About us
Academic Conferences is a joint organisation for Karolinska Institutet, SLU, Stockholm University and Uppsala University. Our mission is to strengthen the universities' brand through professionally organised and successful meetings.
We have been in business for 35 years and organise around 100 conferences a year.
You will receive professional support for events regardless of format or location, whether at the university's own premises or at external facilities throughout Sweden. Tell us your goals and we will help you achieve them.

What our clients say
Thank you for your highly professional and excellent cooperation! Your team has been incredibly committed and responsive from start to finish, resulting in our conference turning out exactly as we had hoped. It has been a great comfort for both us and our sponsors to have you with us on this journey, and we will definitely contact you again as soon as it is time for our next international event!
We would like to extend our warmest thanks to Academic Conferences for their professional execution of the IUFRO World Congress 2024, where responsible support guided us from vision to goal. The collaboration was characterised by continuous dialogue, mutual understanding, reliable deliveries with follow-up — crucial in enabling us to offer over 4,000 delegates from around the world a conference experience that exceeded expectations.
I found my interactions with Academic Conferences and your team completely seamless and efficient. It made organising the conference so much less of a headache. Thank you for doing such a wonderful job.
